Level Designer Setup Guide

You can create a new Playlist.LST file simply by creating a .TXT file and changing the extension to .LST

Add one line for each sound that you want to trigger in the following way:

soundWave=mediafile

For example:

045.wav=cutscen1.mpg
067.wav=end_fmv.mpg
069.wav=tv_news.mpg
078.wav=song.mp3

If you want to add a comment then begin it with ";"

For example:

;this is a comment text.
002.wav=cutscen3.mpg ; cool cut scene!!

Store the playlist.LST file in the AUDIO folder with the media files which are to be triggered.

In the Tomb Raider Level Editor, place CD triggers to trigger your TRMP WAVs as normal. Make a silent WAV if you do not wish the player to notice that you are about to trigger any media file. A silent WAV which is compatible with Tomb Raider's Level Editor is included in the TR Media Player download.

If you want to distribute your level, WinZip the playlist.LST, Read Me, TRMediaPlayer.exe, and your media files, and include them in a folder called "TR Media Player" with your custom level download.

Up-to-date versions of these files are included in the latest version of the TR Media Player download.

Read the Game Player Setup Guide to complete the setup.
